The following partners are involved in delivering Irwell River Park
Was established by Salford City Council, the Northwest Regional Development Agency and the national regeneration agency, English Partnerships (now the Homes and Communities Agency), in 2005 and is responsible for bringing about the transformation of Central Salford.
Exists to create the best possible quality of life for the people of Salford by helping to support individuals, their families and communities and connect people to opportunities.
Is the local authority for Manchester, a city and metropolitan borough in Greater Manchester, England. It is made up of 96 councillors, three for each of the 32 wards.

The Mark Addy originally opened in 1981 and is named after the Victorian local hero. The site was originally a boat passenger’s waiting room for the new Bailey landing stage from where a regular packet boat service was in operation from 1807. After the completion of extensive renovation work, the Mark Addy re-opened on the 28th October 2009. Whatever the weather, the Mark Addy is available for private functions of all kinds including weddings, birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs and christenings as well as corporate events such as retirement celebrations and staff parties.
