With one of the largest student communities in the UK, the Regional Centre has a significant residential population, with significant potential to house future residential growth. Recent acclaimed residential developments on the fringes of Irwell River Park have played a major role in supporting regeneration and a high-quality attractive waterside destination will, for the first time, connect all residential developments along the 8km route with business, leisure and retail opportunities across the Manchester city region.
